frequently asked questions

What should I expect during my first session?

During your first visit, we’ll conduct a thorough assessment, including discussing your medical history, symptoms, and goals. We may perform physical tests to assess your mobility, strength, and flexibility, with our aim being to provide an accurate diagnosis. Based on this, we’ll discuss treatment options and expected recovery times. We’ll develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs. If we have time remaining, we will begin treatment.

The number of sessions required depends on your injury or condition, as well as your goals. Some people see improvements after just a few sessions, while others may need ongoing treatment. We always give you an estimated number of sessions during the assessment based on our experience of treating your injury and the available research, and we’ll monitor your progress and adjust your plan accordingly.

We treat a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, back and neck pain, joint problems, arthritis, post-surgery rehabilitation, and more. Our physiotherapists specialise in helping individuals recover and improve function, whether you’re an athlete or just looking to maintain an active lifestyle.

Many insurance plans cover physiotherapy. We recommend checking with your provider to confirm your coverage. We’re happy to assist with any paperwork or provide the necessary documentation for insurance claims.

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move freely. For certain assessments or treatments, we may ask you to change into athletic wear or shorts to assess your movement and flexibility. You are free to bring a chaperone to your appointments.

It depends on your injury or condition but we always aim to keep you active. We may recommend modifying or limiting certain activities to avoid aggravating your injury. However, we will work with you to design an exercise plan that supports your recovery and helps you get back to the activities you love.
